1. GENERAL IDEA (GAMBARAN UMUM)
Pertama kita mulai dar General Idea. Disini siswa akan ditanyakan General idea dengan contoh perintah seperti berikut ini :

c. What does the text tell us about?
d. The text tells us about …
e. The text talks about …
f. The topic of the text is about….
g. What does the text mostly talk about?
2. SPECIFIC INFORMATION (INFORMASI TERTENTU)
Dalam mencari Specific Information, siswa akan ditanyakan dengan perintah berikut :
a. Who wants to join the competition?
b. When will the contest be held?
c. Where will the writer to spend her holiday?
3. DETAILED INFORMATION (INFORMASI RINCI)
Untuk menentukan Detailed Information peserta UN akan bertemu dengan perintah berikut ini :
a. Why did the writer join the contest?
b. How did the man find his daughter?
4. IMPLICIT INFORMATION (INFORMASI TERSIRAT)
Berikut ini adalah contoh pertanyaan seputar Implicit information :
a. From the text we can conclude that …
b. We know that … because …
c. What can we learn from the text?
d. From the text we can learn that …
5. MAIN IDEA (POKOK PIKIRAN)
Contoh soalnya adalah sebagai berikut:

d. What is the main idea of the … paragraph above?
e. The main idea of the … paragraph is ….

6. WORD MEANING (MAKNA KATA )
Dalam soal Word meaning siswa akan ditanyakan dengan pertanyaan sebagai berikut:

d. What is the opposite of the word “…”?
e. The word “…” has similar meaning as …
f. The underlined word is closest in meaning to
